Group N
For several years the world of production car rallying had been completely dominated by the Mitsubishi Lancer. Its rugged build, unsurpassed reliability and outright speed have made it almost unstoppable. Mechanical alterations are very limited in Group N but the scope for optimisation through Electronic control makes the class both competitive and progressive. The experience that HKS Europe has gained in this field over the past years provides us with a unique ability to optimise the engines and ensure they compliment both the car and the driver.

Custom Rally Engines
Different rally championships across the globe allow teams to exploit the power levels available from the 4G63 by using air restrictors of different sizes. The increased power and scope for development, in these categories make then some of the most exciting rally cars in the world. As proven by Mitsubishi for several years it is also possible to produce a car which is not only the fastest in it category, but capable of beating all competition and taking overall honours at the very highest level. At HKS we have used our experience to produce a range of extremely competitive and durable rally engines suitable for any championship whilst still keeping budget in mind.

Le Mans
The HKS LMS675 engine has been developed exclusively for the Le Mans LMP675 category. Still using the same block and head as the rally cars the engine as been extensively redesigned in Europe to produce the massive levels of power required whilst still having the strength and reliability to endure the 24hours of Le Mans. Particular emphasis has been made on the weight distribution and total mass of the unit. Using revolutionary design concepts wherever possible, it is believed to be the stepping-stone for the 4G63 to now prove itself on the racetrack as well as the rally stage.
